Great Aloha Run 2011–Am I Ready?

I’m almost ready. I ran the best overall race of my life this past Sunday at the Johnny Faerber 10K, but I was struggling with the distance–or rather, going harder than I was used to for longer than I was used to.

But I did better than ever.

I have two weeks to get ready for the Great Aloha Run. That’ll involve a few quick, short runs and a few longer runs, trying to get ready for the more than eight miles I’ll have to do in order to finish this one for the third time. My target pace is 11 minutes per mile.

I’ll be ready.
