My Story, Part Forty Five

I’m trying. I feel like I’m without the time or energy to reach all of my goals–but I think I always feel like that.

My weight is back down to 184 post trip, which is essentially the same as it was. I’ve done a couple of bike rides, I’ve gone geocaching, and I’ve run. I’ve lifted weights and I’ve stretched and I’ve swam. I’m still not back where I was.

On my ride yesterday–two hours of hills and fast downhills in the heat–I felt okay, but not yet great. I was hoping to do a long group ride tomorrow, but I’ll go on my own; I’m not yet into the groove where I think I’ll be effective in a group. My swimming was pretty decent, and my geocaching find was fun. I’m hoping to run, do a ride, and maybe find another cache today.

I’m also trying to get some non-athletic stuff done, like cleaning the house and the truck, some podcasting, some coding, and of course, some blogging.

I’m making progress, I’m just not where I was before I left.
I hope to be soon.
