Slipping is Easy; Getting Back Up isn’t

I slipped again. After a pretty nice week in terms of working out and diet, I encountered illness and stayed up way too late on Saturday night. In the process, I went out for a bite to eat and the only places open anywhere close to me were Jack in the Box and Denny‘s.

And I was far too lazy to cook. And I was sick.

One slip up in a week is not a huge deal, but I haven’t been where I need to be for awhile. After staying around 185 for a long time my weight went into the low 190s recently. It’s time to get it back down to 185–if not lower.

The real test of character isn’t whether someone slips up or not–everyone’s human, everyone slips up sooner or later. The real test is how you get back up.

I intend on passing that test.
