My Story, Part Seventy Eight

I still hate running, but I’m doing it anyway. The peer pressure of having someone to meet up with has definitely worked, I’m doing a couple of relatively hard runs during the work week in the morning and showering at work (one of the side benefits–I love showering).

I have entries for a 5K, an 8K, a 10K, and the Great Aloha Run (about 8 miles, so more than a 10K) waiting for me to fill them out. I think I’ll skip either the 8 or 10, but do the rest.

The one thing I do like about running–if nothing else–is that it’s time efficient. Half an hour in the morning is a heckuva workout for me.

Next will be to decide if I’m doing the metric century in 2010 or not.
