My Story, Part Eighty Seven

I’m feeling winded, but not really sore. I really believe this training program I’m currently on for running–which, while my secondary athletic endeavor, has taken a front seat due to the fact that I have three running events coming up within the next seven weeks–is working.

That fascinates me, because I’ve been such a struggling runner for years now.

The concept, which I’ll talk about, is simple: alternate easy days with hard days, and hard days are best being short days with easy days best being long days. Combine that with some of the concepts in The Non-Runner’s Marathon Trainer, like running only four days a week, and I’ve started having a lot more success than I ever did.

I’ll be discussing this training more as time goes on, including how it’s possible for you to follow it too.
