My Story Part One Hundred Thirteen

I’m hurting a little, but not a lot. The one time I did a marathon–not trained as much as I wanted to be and needed to be–my biggest issue was my left knee, in particular the iliotibial band on my left knee.

It’s bothering me a little now.

Stretching, ice, and rest seem to be the prescribed cures, so I’m definitely doing the first two as much as I can. The latter is tough to do when I’m training for events, and since I’m only in a small amount of pain rather than a huge amount of pain, I’m not really ramping my training down at this time.

Injuries are not fun by any means, but trying to take care of this one before it becomes a big deal might help me keep going through the rest of my goals this year.
