No, Marathon Training Does Not Help Me Lose Weight

So while I have lost weight since the Livestrong Challenge in Philadelphia, I’m convinced it’s not from running.

Why?

I’m incredibly hungry all the time and before I do a run, I absolutely have to eat.

While I’ve not been a calorie counter–and I’ve had a lot of success losing weight without counting calories–I’ve been right around 180 for quite some time now.

I’ll have to focus my efforts elsewhere to actually lose weight after this is over.
