My Story, Part One Hundred Seventy

2010 was quite the year–I did more athletically than I’ve ever done in my life. I rode in three long rides: the Livestrong Philadelphia, the Honolulu Metric Century, and the Honolulu Century, and aside from a mechanical five miles from the end in Philly, I would have finished all three of them.

I ran in a whole bunch of runs: the three race (5K, 8K, and 10K) Great Aloha Run Readiness Series, the Great Aloha Run, the Ford Island Bridge 10K, the Bananaman Run 5K, the Livestrong Philadelphia 10K, and the Honolulu Marathon.

In the meantime I got my weight down to about 180 pounds.

The question then becomes what to do in 2011?

I’m already entered in the 2011 versions of the Great Aloha Run Readiness Series and the Great Aloha Run.

What else I’m not yet sure. I’m thinking about taking up boxing–the workouts at least. And I’m trying to get down to 165 pounds.

We’ll see where 2011 takes me.
