I’m recovered, mostly. It was tough to get through the Great Aloha Run the way I did–even walking part of the way–but it wasn’t so tough to just try to recover by resting and working out more passively with more cycling.
And maybe swimming depending on how the week goes.
Running has been rewarding in its own strange way recently. While I hate running–yes, I hate it, as I’ve said before–my results have been improving as time goes on. Cycling hasn’t been offering me the same rewards as much as I love it.
I’ll also be adding more to my workout routine as I try to improve in more facets than cardiovascular.
